Dino Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Di Camillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute.

Ennio Schiavoni came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Punta Marina's Elia Basilico. But to his dismay, Elia Basilico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Edmondo Di Camillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Alberto Pazienza struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ennio Schiavoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Punta Marina. Ennio Schiavoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Basilico in the 82nd minute of play. After 90 minutes, Bruno Schirone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Zaccaria FC and the Punta Marina players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to San Zaccaria FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edmondo Di Camillos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Dino Fantini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Edmondo Di Camillo sped through Punta Marina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Fantini. San Zaccaria FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
