An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Guarisi in the 15th minute of play forced Tobbiana AFC's goalkeeper Fabiano Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donato Melchiorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Pesce during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavio Di Federico shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but Alfonso Eleuteri was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, Vizzano FC's Eugenio Senatore got a free kick in the 27th minute. Adriano Speranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alfonso Eleuteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Adriano Speranza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobbiana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Speranza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Eleuteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Speranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Eleuteri having to interfere. Alfonso Eleuteri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Melchiorre in the 38th minute. Amerigo Faieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabiano Canuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Piacente kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Faieta to make the kick off. A collision led to Tobbiana AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cristiano Di Monte hit a great ball. Eugenio Senatore, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Tobbiana AFC's Fabio Pellicciotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Eleuteri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adriano Speranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tobbiana AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dino Mangione hit a great ball. Alfonso Eleuteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Speranza in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Donato Melchiorre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vizzano FC's Alfonso Eleuteri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Vizzano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Senatore to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Tobbiana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Di Monte. A collision led to Tobbiana AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fabio Pellicciotta hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Eugenio Senatore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tobbiana AFC's Fabiano Canuto didn't even have to move. The supporters of Vizzano FC booed when Tobbiana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Di Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Faieta spun around in front of the goal 95 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tobbiana AFC's goal. After 97 played minutes Amerigo Faieta rounded Tobbiana AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The Vizzano FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vizzano FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
