In the 3rdth minute of the game Emilio Villani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarmeola AFC's Anfilogino Alonzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Cesare Ciaccia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anfilogino Alonzi. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Basaldella's Ferruccio Montaldi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cesare Ciaccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Alonzi having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match Alfredo Di Tommaso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anfilogino Alonzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Sarmeola AFC's Anfilogino Alonzi got control of the ball when Arturo Borrelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anfilogino Alonzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesare Ciaccia's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes Basaldella got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Montaldi. After 36 played minutes Basaldella got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Montaldi. Cosimo Di Gregorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Martano in the 37th minute of play. Donato Desiderio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Ciaccia to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sarmeola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Di Cintio to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Borrelli struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Anfilogino Alonzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basaldella. Cesare Ciaccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Alonzi having to interfere. If Ciccio Martano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basaldella's Cosimo Di Gregorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Martano in the 63rd minute of play. Anfilogino Alonzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Borrelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Arturo Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Di Cintio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Basaldella. Enrico Colangelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anfilogino Alonzi. 2-0. In the 76th match minute, Sarmeola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Mirto to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Borrelli took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anfilogino Alonzi. Anfilogino Alonzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Cesare Ciaccia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Alonzi was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Cesare Ciaccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Alonzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ciccio Martano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cosimo Di Gregorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Guidone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosimo Di Gregorio having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Basaldella had won after a very even match.
