Casaccia AFC's Ermanno Albertini got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Dennis Rosato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthony Bartolucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Pasinati having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Rosato in the 18th minute of play forced Casaccia AFC's goalkeeper Cesare Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Bardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corrado Improta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dennis Rosato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dennis Rosato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casaccia AFC's Cesare Bardella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Casaccia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Arcangeli to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Improta struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cesare Bardella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beccacivetta. 30 minutes into the match, Beccacivetta's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Scarpa came free, but Claudio Pasinati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ermanno Albertini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Pasinati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ermanno Albertini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Claudio Pasinati made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Casaccia AFC's zone, Dennis Rosato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Bardella came out of the goal and Dennis Rosato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Comunardo Scarpa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermanno Albertini in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Pasinati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Beccacivetta getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Federico Giolo hit a great ball. Claudio Pasinati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermanno Albertini went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dennis Rosato might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesare Bardella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Rosato ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Arcangeli kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Corrado Improta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 63 in the game by Corrado Improta from a close distance when the talented Cesare Bardella managed to make a qualified save. Casaccia AFC's players were relieved. Ermanno Albertini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Beccacivetta's Cesare Bardella threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Di Febo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 76 minutes Casaccia AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristiano Cerrone who took care of the corner kick. Cristiano Cerrone made a great header on Beccacivetta's corner, it was just that Casaccia AFC's Cesare Bardella managed to reach the ball for a save. When Dennis Rosato came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Beccacivetta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Rosato couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Beccacivetta's Corrado Improta got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Anthony Bartolucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Casaccia AFC's Comunardo Scarpa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Pasinati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casaccia AFC! After 96 minutes Casaccia AFC's goalkeeper Cesare Bardella managed, with a little bit of luck, save Cristiano Cerrone's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Cristiano Cerrone took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesare Bardella. Cesare Bardella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
