Vedano Al Lambro FC's Ferruccio Marini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Mazzola in the 32nd minute of play. Fabiano Mazzola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Marini having to interfere. Attilio Brillante came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Vedano Al Lambro FC's Fabio Ferretti. But to his dismay, Fabio Ferretti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Vedano Al Lambro FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bernardo Pasqualone hit a great ball. Fabiano Mazzola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Ferretti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Brillante having to interfere. Vedano Al Lambro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Tamburrini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tamburrini in the 71st minute of play forced Cassino Di Sotto's goalkeeper Attilio Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Tamburrini in the 73rd minute of play. Felice Di Lello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ferruccio Marini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Vedano Al Lambro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabiano Mazzola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Diego Tamburrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Brillante having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Domenico Baldassarre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cassino Di Sotto booed when Vedano Al Lambro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Pasqualone didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Vedano Al Lambro FC were the better team. Vedano Al Lambro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
