In the 13th minute of the match Emiliano Miranda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amedeo Scandella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Fabiano Mantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Scandella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Sessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Scandella having to interfere. If Biagio Federici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Daniele Bondi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th match minute, Gerre Borghi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Fracassi to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Gerre Borghi's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Sessa came free, but Amedeo Scandella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Mantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carmine Sessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Amedeo Scandella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Fabiano Mantini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amedeo Scandella saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniele Bondi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Rivera in the 66th minute of play. Ercole Di Clemente might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniele Bondi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Di Clemente ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Carmine Sessa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amedeo Scandella. Gerre Borghi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmine Sessa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 83rd minute, Carmine Sessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Antonello Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Bondi having to interfere. Daniele Bondi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Federici, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Ercole Di Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
