The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuele Sampo during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuele Sampo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Caprona FC's Aurelio Cericola shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anselmo Zoccolo but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ermanno Di Gaetano put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmo Zoccolo. Claudio Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Orrore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlo La Marca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ciccio Chiola could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Anselmo Zoccolo however easily saved by the left post. In the 34th minute Enzo Orrore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlo La Marca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Zoccolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Chiola in the 38th minute. If Ciccio Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo La Marca made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Carlo La Marca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anselmo Zoccolo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ciccio Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. A collision led to Molara FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Frank Danza hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Caprona FC's Aurelio Cericola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Zoccolo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caprona FC reached it. If Fabio Di Lullo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Molara FC's Anselmo Zoccolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo La Marca in the 87th minute of play. Carlo La Marca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Zoccolo having to interfere. Caprona FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
