When Carlo La Marca came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Caprona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo La Marca couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Chiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Carlucci having to interfere. Alex Scevola hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Gigli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Claudio Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donegaglia. Edoardo Carlucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo La Marca, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Enrico Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donegaglia's protests and gave Enrico Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caprona FC booed when Donegaglia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo La Marca during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlo La Marca hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Cesare Marziali hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Donegaglia's Edoardo Carlucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Donegaglia from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 46 in the game by Ciccio Chiola from a close distance when the talented Edoardo Carlucci managed to make a qualified save. Donegaglia's players were relieved. Carlo La Marca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edoardo Carlucci having to make a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo La Marca made a kick off. Caprona FC's Carlo La Marca got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Donegaglia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Chiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edoardo Carlucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Chiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferruccio Gigli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciccio Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Donegaglia booed when Caprona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Palone didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ferruccio Gigli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
