After a defensive mix-up in Tribola AFC's zone, Attilio Sangermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Musso came out of the goal and Attilio Sangermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tribola AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Carmine Chelodi hit a great ball. Gossolengo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Panno in the 17th minute. Alex Aureli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Sangermano in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Musso saved Tribola AFC from getting behind. Emilio Abbagnale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Aureli in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alessandro De Luca to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alex Aureli came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tribola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Aureli couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Donato Panno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Gossolengo's goalkeeper Emilio Abbagnale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Aureli. If Alex Aureli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro De Luca in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Abbagnale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 73 minutes, Alex Aureli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Aureli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tribola AFC booed when Gossolengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Sangermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Gossolengo's Donato Panno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donato Panno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gossolengo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donato Panno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st minute, one of Gossolengo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gossolengo. Emilio Abbagnale had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alessandro Ceccon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gossolengo's goalkeeper Emilio Abbagnale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro De Luca. Gossolengo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tribola AFC for a fine match.
