Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Achille Frasca made the kick off and thus started the match. When Florian Scibilia fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballo's protests and gave Florian Scibilia a yellow card for diving instead. Florian Scibilia hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Arrigo Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Marzulli having to interfere. After 7 played minutes, Cavi's Amerigo Santangelo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuele Marzulli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cavi reached it. Carter Brandolini hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Frank Di Iulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Balzani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achille Frasca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille Frasca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Marzulli having to interfere. After 23 minutes Ballo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Marinetti who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Enzo Marinetti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emanuele Marzulli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Achille Frasca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Marzulli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arrigo Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavi's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Ali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Marzulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amedeo Reggianini hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demetrio Balzani in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Di Iulio saved Cavi from getting behind. Carter Cirulli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Di Iulio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Carter Cirulli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Frank Di Iulio 40 minutes into the match. Arrigo Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Balzani to make the kick off. Frank Di Iulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demetrio Balzani went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute Carter Cirulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Di Iulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ballo's Demetrio Balzani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Di Iulio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuele Marzulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Frasca, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Carter Cirulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Frank Di Iulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavi's goalkeeper Frank Di Iulio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Achille Frasca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavi's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Frasca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Marzulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Cavi's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Balzani came free, but Frank Di Iulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Cavi's Arrigo Ali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuele Marzulli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 86th play minute Arrigo Ali came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuele Marzulli. 2-2. Arrigo Ali struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Emanuele Marzulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavi. After a defensive mix-up in Cavi's zone, Carter Cirulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Di Iulio came out of the goal and Carter Cirulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Demetrio Balzani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Di Iulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achille Frasca struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Emanuele Marzulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavi. Cavi were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
