Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Achille Frasca kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Cavi's Claudio Curti got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Cavi getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Claudio Curti hit a great ball. Federico Scarinci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Frank Di Iulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Cavi got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Curti. Frank Di Iulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Di Tommaso in the 12th minute of play. Federico Scarinci struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Frank Di Iulio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cassignanica AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Ricciuti during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlo Stellato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Frasca in the 24th minute of play. Federico Scarinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filippo Renzi's late challenge caught a Cavi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo Renzi helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Cassignanica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Renzi. In the 33rd minute of the match Enzo Marinetti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlo Stellato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Carmine Di Tommaso made the kick off in the second half. Cavi's Arrigo Ali got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Bianco Riva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Federico Scarinci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo Renzi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Carmine Di Tommaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cassignanica AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine Di Tommaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Achille Frasca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Di Iulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Di Tommaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Cavi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cavi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
