After a rather tough play, Vázia AFC's Ercole Giannotti got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Biagio Troiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Demetrio Consalvi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vázia AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Demetrio Consalvi made a precise shot to the right of Antonello Cacciatore. Persico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Demetrio Gizzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carter Di Sante kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Enzo Tacco struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Amedeo Orsini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persico. Persico's Biagio Troiano got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Troiano came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amedeo Orsini could save by the left post. Amedeo Orsini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biagio Troiano in the 35th minute. Biagio Troiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Orsini having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Vázia AFC's goalkeeper Amedeo Orsini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Tacco. 40 minutes into the game, Demetrio Consalvi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Antonello Cacciatore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demetrio Gizzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Antonello Cacciatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Consalvi in the 46th minute of play forced Persico's goalkeeper Antonello Cacciatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After 56 minutes, Alvise Staniscia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vázia AFC and the Persico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Vázia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Staniscia. After recieving a nice pass, Persico's Beppe Imperatore tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vázia AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alvise Staniscia hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Biagio Troiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Persico's supporters rose to their feet, but Biagio Troiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Orsini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Demetrio Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Troiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Orsini having to interfere. Demetrio Consalvis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Antonello Cacciatore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Persico booed when Vázia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Prato didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tacco in the 83rd minute of play forced Vázia AFC's goalkeeper Amedeo Orsini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Orsini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Marini in the 85th minute of play. If Enzo Tacco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Troiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Amedeo Orsini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Troiano in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amedeo Orsini saved Vázia AFC from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Persico got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Imperatore. Emiliano Pietrantoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Gizzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Cacciatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play.
