Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Antonio Verdone started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Casalotto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Valeriani to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Verdone in the 5th minute of play forced Casalotto's goalkeeper Eugenio De Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Concetto Tana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio De Simone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eugenio De Simone made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Concetto Tana sent off a good shot on target. Concetto Tana struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Eugenio De Simone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viterbo. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alessandro Cino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalotto's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Cino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Alba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Panico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Concetto Tana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio De Simone was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Concetto Tana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio De Simone having to interfere. When Antonio Verdone, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eugenio De Simone was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Casalotto got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Luzi. In the 43rd minute Viterbo were awarded a corner. Ennio Di Girolamo went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Casalotto defense, Concetto Tana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio De Simone. The Casalotto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio De Simone should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Panico to make the kick off. Ettore Alba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Cino in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Davide Panico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalotto's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Panico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Alba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Alba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Cino in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Concetto Tana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viterbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Tana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viterbo's attack was well implemented in the 69th minute, but when Antonio Verdone was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 71 minutes, Alessandro Cino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casalotto and the Viterbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Tana in the 72nd minute of play forced Casalotto's goalkeeper Eugenio De Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Tana in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio De Simone saved Casalotto from getting behind. Ettore Alba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Panico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Tana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eugenio De Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Concetto Tana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viterbo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Franco Trivelli came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Viterbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Trivelli couldn't finish the play. Viterbo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
