He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Damiano Tomei. Bernardo Santagata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Bocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Angeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Della Rocca to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Alberto Scotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Tomei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Roverazza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bocchi came free, but Bernardo Santagata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Tomei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Scotti's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the game, Edmondo Della Rocca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angeli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roverazza AFC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Angeli got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Della Rocca. Amedeo Rago was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dave Fantauzzi got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Angeli getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dave Fantauzzi hit a great ball. If Fabiano Natale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
