Ettore Diana's late challenge caught a San Floriano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Diana helped the player get up and apologised. Ettore Diana hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Marini during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Totaro's late challenge caught a San Floriano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of San Pellegrino booed when San Floriano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Leone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Punta charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

San Pellegrino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Elia Mameli scored to the left of an out of position Christian Biancone, making the score, 3-3.
