Bianco Munno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Frasca in the 4th minute of play. Fausto Cericola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Munno having to interfere. In the 7th minute Ercole Frasca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Munno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Munno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Frasca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Anthony Matteucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gorra FC booed when Gradizza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Matteucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Emiliano Gentile sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gradizza's Bianco Munno didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute of the match Fabiano Pavlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Salomone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo De Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Salomone having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arturo De Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gradizza's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo De Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes, Ettore Balzani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorra FC and the Gradizza players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gradizza booed when Gorra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Balzani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo De Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Salomone having to interfere. Arturo De Rossis short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Angelo Salomone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arturo De Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Cericola to strike the kick off in the second half. Gradizza's Bianco Munno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Cericola in the 59th minute of play. Bianco Munno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Cericola, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fausto Cericola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fausto Cericola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Fausto Cericola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gradizza's Bianco Munno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Gradizza from getting a goal against them. When Anthony Matteucci fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gradizza's protests and gave Anthony Matteucci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Gradizza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Matteucci to maneuver through the defense. If Fausto Cericola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
