An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Panella in the 12th minute of play forced Bolzano Bozen's goalkeeper Carter Pilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bianco Sampo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Prato spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Armin Guerrieri grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Bianco Sampos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Armin Guerrieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dino Panella hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Armin Guerrieri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bolzano Bozen's Antonello Prato shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bianco Sampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Armin Guerrieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bianco Cardano fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Superga's protests and gave Bianco Cardano a yellow card for diving instead. The audience cheered loudly when Anthony Marra's long shot in the 48th minute became 2-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Armin Guerrieri.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Panella made a kick off. Alberigo Iacovella charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberigo Iacovella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alberigo Iacovella hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Catini got free with Carter Pilla in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Bianco Sampo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armin Guerrieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Bianco Sampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Armin Guerrieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolzano Bozen's Carter Pilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bolzano Bozen from getting a goal against them. After recieving a nice pass, Superga's Ercole Riccitelli tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bianco Pelusi's late challenge caught a Bolzano Bozen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonello Prato struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Armin Guerrieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolzano Bozen. In the 91st minute Antonello Prato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Guerrieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolzano Bozen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
