Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Certosino FC's Aldo Mazzocco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniele Rondinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Mazzocco, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Ermanno Lizzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Felli skillfully saved the ball. In the 13th match minute, Certosino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Tocchetto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Certosino FC's zone, Ennio Burgnich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Felli came out of the goal and Ennio Burgnich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristoforo Rinaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa AFC's Daniele Rondinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Epifani in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Aldo Mazzocco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniele Rondinelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Capobianco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ettore Epifani came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Certosino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Epifani couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Epifani in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniele Rondinelli saved Villa AFC from getting behind. Aldo Mazzocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Daniele Rondinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ennio Burgnich to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Burgnich in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amos Felli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ennio Burgnich struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Amos Felli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa AFC. Emilio Capobianco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Felli having to interfere. If Ennio Burgnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ettore Epifani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Rondinelli having to interfere. If Ennio Burgnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Mazzocco scored 0-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniele Rondinelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniele Tocchetto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniele Rondinelli having to make a save. Emilio Capobianco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Certosino FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
