Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrico Conti started the match with the kick off. When Amedeo Caracciolo came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Marechiaro La Gaiola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Caracciolo couldn't finish the play. Aldo Di Toma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Pierdomenico having to interfere. When Demetrio Cattaneo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cusano Milanino FC's protests and gave Demetrio Cattaneo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marechiaro La Gaiola booed when Cusano Milanino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Cattaneo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Aldo Di Toma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marechiaro La Gaiola's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Di Toma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Pierdomenico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Cicchetti hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Marechiaro La Gaiola's Claudio Di Gregorio tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cusano Milanino FC booed when Marechiaro La Gaiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Conforti didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrico Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aldo Di Toma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cusano Milanino FC's Adriano Pierdomenico got control of the ball when Amedeo Caracciolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Di Toma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Pierdomenico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marechiaro La Gaiola's zone, Enrico Conti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio Beattie came out of the goal and Enrico Conti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo Caracciolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Pierdomenico having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Augusto Salvadore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessio Beattie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
The wind increased when Aldo Di Toma made the kick off in the second half. Biagio Alfieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alessio Beattie made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Davide Cicchetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cusano Milanino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marechiaro La Gaiola the free kick. In the 54th minute, Davide Cicchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Pierdomenico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Di Toma in the 57th minute of the match. If Amedeo Caracciolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Enrico Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Pierdomenico came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marechiaro La Gaiola's Aldo Di Toma. But to his dismay, Aldo Di Toma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Marechiaro La Gaiola's Amedeo Caracciolo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cusano Milanino FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Biagio Alfieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marechiaro La Gaiola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Biagio Alfieri scored to the left of an out of position Alessio Beattie, making the score, 2-1. Achille Manzoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marechiaro La Gaiola fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cusano Milanino FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
