Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armando Cirone kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Finocchi got free with Alessio Schirru in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Salona's Comunardo Del Prete got a free kick in the 5th minute. Armando Cirone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessio Schirru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Filippo Perazzolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Armando Cirone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Armando Cirone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Schirru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Pittelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ennio Salerno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Cirone in the 31st minute of the match. Armando Cirone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessio Schirru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cosimo Finocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salona's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Finocchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Schirru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Niguarda booed when Salona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Molinaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Alessandro Pittelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ennio Salerno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cosimo Finocchi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Pittelli made a kick off. Cosimo Finocchi scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessio Schirru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ennio Salerno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Pittelli in the 56th minute of play. Fausto Palombi's late challenge caught a Salona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Palombi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Salona booed when Niguarda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Palombi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Niguarda's Filippo Perazzolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ennio Salerno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alessio Schirru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Finocchi in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alessandro Pittelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niguarda's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Pittelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Salerno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Comunardo Del Prete kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filippo Perazzolo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Cirone scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessio Schirru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Niguarda booed when Salona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Centofanti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Salona's goalkeeper Ennio Salerno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Perazzolo. A collision led to Salona getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Amerigo Carosella hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salona's zone, Filippo Perazzolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Salerno came out of the goal and Filippo Perazzolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
