Fulvio Gallucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Montaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fabio Teti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fulvio Gallucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Fabio Teti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Gallucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ettore Montaldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulvio Gallucci was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Camillo Mei's late challenge caught a Lungafame FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Mei helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lungafame FC booed when Palidoro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Mei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Del Nero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fulvio Gallucci came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Lungafame FC's Ettore Montaldi. But to his dismay, Ettore Montaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute, Fabio Teti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Mei got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Camillo Mei kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fulvio Gallucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Teti in the 37th minute of the match. If Ettore Fioriti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Lungafame FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Di Bernardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Fioriti. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Teti in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulvio Gallucci saved Palidoro FC from getting behind. Ettore Fioriti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Di Bernardo having to interfere. Ettore Montaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fulvio Gallucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Palidoro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lungafame FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ettore Fioriti made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lungafame FC booed when Palidoro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Selvaggi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ettore Montaldi took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Fulvio Gallucci to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 79 minutes, Ettore Montaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lungafame FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Montaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Ettore Fioriti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palidoro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When Palidoro FC's Ettore Fioriti in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lungafame FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alvise Taranto scored 2-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amedeo Di Bernardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Palidoro FC's Fulvio Gallucci got control of the ball when Fabio Teti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lungafame FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
