Alvaro Furia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Montaldi in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Teti in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Furia saved Novare FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Novare FC's zone, Ettore Montaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Furia came out of the goal and Ettore Montaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabio Teti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Novare FC's Alvaro Furia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Montaldi in the 12th minute of play. Ercole Parente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Lungafame FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Achille Di Marino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amedeo Di Bernardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercole Parente's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 44 played minutes Novare FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Cavanna. In the 45th minute of the match Antonio Del Nero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Furia skillfully saved the ball. In the 48th minute, Camillo Gigli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercole Parente made a kick off. Fabio Teti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Furia having to interfere. When Achille Di Marino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Novare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Di Marino couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Fabio Teti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lungafame FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Teti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Furia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camillo Gigli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Achille Di Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Brunetta hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Fabio Teti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lungafame FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Teti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Teti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Furia having to interfere. Novare FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Lungafame FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Novare FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
