Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Micucci kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Grezzana FC's zone, Alessandro Corvasce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Crosta came out of the goal and Alessandro Corvasce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Angelo Finocchio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grezzana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villata AFC the free kick. The supporters of Villata AFC booed when Grezzana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Finocchio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felice Pellicciotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Crosta having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Villata AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Micucci came free, but Alfonso Scrima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Alessandro Corvasce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Crosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grezzana FC defense, Felice Pellicciotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Crosta. The Grezzana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Crosta should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Scrima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Micucci in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Micucci in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Scrima saved Villata AFC from getting behind. Villata AFC's Alfonso Scrima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Micucci in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villata AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Scrima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinando Ascoli kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Alfonso Scrima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Finocchio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 51 played minutes Grezzana FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cesaroni. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felice Pellicciotta got free with Ciro Crosta in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Villata AFC's Alfonso Scrima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Flammini in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Villata AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Micucci came free, but Alfonso Scrima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Crosta was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Alessandro Corvasce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro Corvasce really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Flammini in the 69th minute of play forced Villata AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Scrima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniele Clemente took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Scrima. Villata AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Micucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alfonso Scrima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Scrima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Flammini went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Ferdinando Ascoli charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Ascoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Grezzana FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Ascoli. When Alessandro Corvasce came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Villata AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Corvasce couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on Grezzana FC's corner Daniele Clemente fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Scrima quite easily take care of the ball. Felice Pellicciotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Crosta having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grezzana FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villata AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
