Alex Mauro's late challenge caught a Montorsoli AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Mauro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Ponte Abbadesse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Mauro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Montorsoli AFC booed when Ponte Abbadesse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Primavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montorsoli AFC's Carter Giacchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Antonioni in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Flavio Primavera put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carter Giacchetti. Montorsoli AFC's Carter Giacchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Primavera in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ponte Abbadesse FC's Ermanno Antonioni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Giacchetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Ermanno Antonioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte Abbadesse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Antonioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Montorsoli AFC's Ernesto Belfiore got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ciccio Filice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponte Abbadesse FC's Alex Mauro got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Alex Mauro off the ground. Alex Mauro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ponte Abbadesse FC's Carmine Scudieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Filice in the 40th minute of play. Carmine Scudieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Rotili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinando Barresi might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmine Scudieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinando Barresi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Filice in the 47th minute of play forced Ponte Abbadesse FC's goalkeeper Carmine Scudieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Primavera to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Primaveras short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Carter Giacchetti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Montorsoli AFC's Ferruccio Pellicciotta got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ponte Abbadesse FC's Damiano Bucciarelli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carter Giacchetti but with some difficulty. Ciccio Filice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Scudieri having to interfere. When Ferdinando Barresi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Montorsoli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Barresi couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Filice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Flavio Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Primavera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Carter Giacchetti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ferdinando Barresi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Montorsoli AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Rotili to maneuver through the defense. Ponte Abbadesse FC's Flavio Primavera got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th play minute Flavio Primavera came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carter Giacchetti. 0-2. With his leg Carter Giacchetti managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Ponte Abbadesse FC's Flavio Primavera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
