Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Comunardo Taddeo made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Di Lullo in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Lavatrice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, one of Pergola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Federico Graziano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 16 minutes into the match, Gambettola's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Sacchi came free, but Arturo Caiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Lavatrice stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Monaco's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Demetrio Lavatrice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo Taddeo in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Pergola got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Iannucci. Demetrio Lavatrice didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Di Lullo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cristiano Sacchi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Caiola having to make a save. Pergola's Anselmo Gervasi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pergola's zone, Comunardo Taddeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Lavatrice came out of the goal and Comunardo Taddeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Gervasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Caiola having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Sacchi to strike the kick off in the second half. Comunardo Taddeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Demetrio Lavatrice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Pergola got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Benarrivo. In the 56th minute, Comunardo Taddeo made a precise shot to the right of Demetrio Lavatrice. Pergola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fedele Curti charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedele Curti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Gambettola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Curti to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Lavatrice made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Di Lullo in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes Gambettola got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Ferrante. After 68 played minutes Gambettola got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Monaco. 69 minutes into the match, Pergola's Elia Moschetta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Demetrio Lavatrice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Taddeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Demetrio Lavatrice came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambettola's Carlo Di Lullo. But to his dismay, Carlo Di Lullo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Arturo Caiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Gervasi in the 85th minute of the match. Anselmo Gervasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Caiola having to interfere. Arturo Caiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gervasi in the 92nd minute of play. Carlo Di Lullo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Demetrio Lavatrice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
