Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Federico Petito kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, San Giuliano FC's Augusto Berardini got a free kick in the 8th minute. Aurelio Santarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Mazzocchi having to interfere. If Amerigo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Schirru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Bianco La Penna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alex Schirru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Aurelio Santarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 minutes, Alexander Petito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Giuliano FC and the Marano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes San Giuliano FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Petito. A collision led to San Giuliano FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alexander Petito hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Aurelio Santarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Mazzocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Schirru came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Giuliano FC's Bianco La Penna. But to his dismay, Bianco La Penna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Amerigo Motta made the kick off in the second half. Alex Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco La Penna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marano's Federico Petito got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Giuliano FC's Bianco La Penna got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, San Giuliano FC's goalkeeper Dave Mazzocchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Santarelli. When Dave Prisco fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Giuliano FC's protests and gave Dave Prisco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Giuliano FC's Dave Prisco got a free kick in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Fasciani during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Carmine Fasciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Schirru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Motta's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Carmine Fasciani kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Bianco La Penna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of San Giuliano FC booed when Marano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianco Bolli kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
