The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 26th minute, one of San Giuliano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Giuliano FC. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Livergnano. Arturo Caiola stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dave Mazzocchi. 0-2. Achille Vinciguerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco La Penna struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ciro Fanfarone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Giuliano FC. Livergnano's Ciro Fanfarone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Livergnano from getting a goal against them. After 49 minutes of play, Livergnano's Achille Vinciguerra made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Mazzocchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco La Penna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Mazzocchi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. It was beautiful to see Livergnano's Arturo Caiola in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Vinciguerra got free with Dave Mazzocchi in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Livergnano played a much better game than San Giuliano FC and deserved their victory. The San Giuliano FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
