After a defensive mix-up in Murelle Vechia's zone, Eraldo Di Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Piccinini came out of the goal and Eraldo Di Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Murelle Vechia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Enrico Orsi hit a great ball. Aldo Valcareggi succeeded in the game's 16th minute to get real power on a long shot . Murelle Vechia's Alfredo Piccinini hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Aversano in the 19th minute of play forced Cervasca AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Ansoldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Murelle Vechia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Aureli came free, but Alfredo Piccinini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cervasca AFC's Cristoforo Aureli got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Aversano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Alfonso Ansoldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murelle Vechia. In the 37th minute Aldo Aversano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Ansoldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Domenico Anastasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murelle Vechia and the Cervasca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Murelle Vechia's Domenico Anastasi got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Aldo Aversano came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Murelle Vechia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Aversano couldn't finish the play.

In the 54th minute, Cristoforo Aureli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Eraldo Di Martino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 56th minute, Augusto Armellini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Piccinini acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aldo Valcareggi. In the 60th minute, Murelle Vechia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristoforo Aureli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristoforo Aureli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Piccinini having to interfere. Alfredo Piccinini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Di Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Murelle Vechia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cervasca AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cervasca AFC.
