Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ercole Sasso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfredo Di Persio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Di Persio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bresso's Alfredo Di Persio got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Bresso booed when Vaneze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Riccardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bresso's Alberigo Soccio got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Maldini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Sasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberigo Soccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Riccardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Francesco Ceccon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Di Persio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vaneze's Domenico Torelli tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Florian Riccardis short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Francesco Ceccon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute Alfredo Di Persio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beppe Verdecchia during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vaneze getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Beppe Verdecchia hit a great ball. Alberigo Soccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vaneze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armin Colangelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Bresso's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bresso's corner Armin Colangelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francesco Maldini quite easily take care of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Vaneze's Angelo Santarelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Ceccon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alberigo Soccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bresso's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Soccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Maldini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Francesco Ceccon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Santarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Vaneze's Florian Riccardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Ceccon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francesco Maldini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Soccio went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Alberigo Soccio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vaneze's Francesco Maldini got control of the ball when Alberigo Soccio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Santarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Ceccon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Lampa during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Vaneze a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domenico Torelli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bresso's Francesco Ceccon. 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Alberigo Soccio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Florian Riccardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Verdecchia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Francesco Ceccon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Santarelli in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes, Amos Del Duca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bresso and the Vaneze players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vaneze booed when Bresso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Del Duca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Santarelli spun around in front of the goal 98 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bresso's goal. Vaneze were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bresso for a fine match.
