Diego Di Sipio might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ettore Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Di Sipio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermanno De Lellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ettore Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ermanno De Lellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermanno De Lellis made a kick off. Diego Di Sipio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Di Sipio scored 1-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ettore Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Villa Buonrespiro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Di Tommaso to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Villa Buonrespiro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno De Lellis came free, but Ettore Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinando Rosati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Alex Giardini came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Villa Buonrespiro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Giardini couldn't finish the play. Carlo Proia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Rosati having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monte Moro FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
