Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carlo Proia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Sarna AFC booed when Villa Buonrespiro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Giardini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Parco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ettore Mazza made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, Villa Buonrespiro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Moretti to maneuver through the defense. If Dino Arpaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino Arpaia came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sarna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Arpaia couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Carlo Proia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Carlo Proia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Buonrespiro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Proia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Giardini took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Lucchetti. Damiano Lucchetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Camillo Alberico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Buonrespiro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarna AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Villa Buonrespiro AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sarna AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ettore Mazza, was totally fooled by Sarna AFC's Ermanno Castellazzi, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 39 minutes into the match, Sarna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Proia came free, but Damiano Lucchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Sarna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Foni to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Parco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ettore Mazza having to make a save. Dino Arpaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Mazza having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

56 minutes into the match, Dino Arpaia notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Villa Buonrespiro AFC's Ettore Mazza. Ettore Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sarna AFC's Ciro Parco got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Parco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Mazza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Carlo Proia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Lucchetti was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Ettore Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Arpaia in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ermanno Castellazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Parco in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Proia in the 83rd minute of play forced Sarna AFC's goalkeeper Damiano Lucchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Damiano Di Virgilio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ettore Mazza skillfully saved the ball. If Ciro Parco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Parco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa Buonrespiro AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
