A hard shot by Cristiano Carrea from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Anthony Caponera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Concetto Grilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Caponera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberigo Sisti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Anthony Caponera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Sisti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Alberigo Sisti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poggio Berni AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Sisti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cervasca's Ciccio Marongiu got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Ciccio Marongiu off the ground. Ciccio Marongiu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Cervasca getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Florian Spano hit a great ball. Poggio Berni AFC's Cristiano Carrea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cervasca. Alberigo Sisti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Sisti to strike the kick off in the second half. Fedele Sampo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Di Liddo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Amos Aversa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Concetto Grilli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davide Di Gennaro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Alberigo Sisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Grilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Caponera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Grilli in the 73rd minute of play forced Cervasca's goalkeeper Anthony Caponera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Sisti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Caponera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Amos Aversa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberigo Sisti took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Caponera. Anthony Caponera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Cervasca booed when Poggio Berni AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Grilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Di Liddo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Fedele Sampo made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Davide Di Gennaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poggio Berni AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cervasca the free kick. A collision led to Poggio Berni AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Davide Di Gennaro hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Concetto Grilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Caponera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
