The supporters of Casemurate booed when Cervasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Spano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cervasca's Anthony Caponera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Falcioni in the 13th minute of play. Edmondo Tundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Casemurate's Anthony Caponera threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermanno Falcioni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anthony Caponera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermanno Falcioni's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Cervasca's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Falcioni came free, but Anthony Caponera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Falcioni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Caponera having to interfere. Anthony Caponera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Piattelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Di Liddo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Corvasce having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermanno Falcioni to make the kick off. Casemurate were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Cervasca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfonso Manzo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alfonso Manzo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anthony Caponera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Angelo Di Liddo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the game, Carmine Liberatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casemurate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cervasca the free kick. Carmine Liberatore kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Ciccio Marongiu from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Beppe Corvasce's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Giovannelli in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Caponera saved Cervasca from getting behind. Ermanno Falcioni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthony Caponera having to make a save. Angelo Di Liddo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Attilio Piattelli's late challenge caught a Cervasca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Piattelli helped the player get up and apologised. Attilio Piattelli kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Elia Cirelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Corvasce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elia Cirelli ran back to his position shaking his head. If Angelo Di Liddo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Casemurate's goalkeeper Beppe Corvasce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Di Liddo. When Angelo Di Liddo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cervasca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Di Liddo couldn't finish the play. Angelo Di Liddo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Beppe Corvasce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
