Anfilogino Doris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Pellicciotta went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniele Di Girolamo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello De Sanctis having to make a save. Antonello De Sanctis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Augusto Panino sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Donatelli made a kick off. Cristoforo Guerriero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ciro Pellicciotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosaguta AFC's Daniele Di Girolamo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Roma City FC's Dennis Arpaia got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Daniele Di Girolamo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anfilogino Doris came out of the goal and Ciro Pellicciotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roma City FC's Ciro Pellicciotta got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Cameli kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Roma City FC booed when Rosaguta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Franceschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniele Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonello De Sanctis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Panino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Roma City FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosaguta AFC throughout the match.
