Dino Genovesi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ferruccio Caneva, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 11th minute, Savona AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dennis Faieta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anthony Tullo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso Picca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Faieta struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fausto Martinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tor Vaianica FC. Carlo Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Diana having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dennis Faieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tor Vaianica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Faieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Martinelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Faieta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. Carlo Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Diana having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Carter Colagrossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Tullo to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Faieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fausto Martinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Savona AFC's Dino Genovesi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The attack was good, but when Dennis Faieta in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tor Vaianica FC's Anthony Tullo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, Tor Vaianica FC's Anthony Tullo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Martinelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Martinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Faieta in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Carter Colagrossi made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Diana. Tor Vaianica FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 79th play minute Carlo Rivera came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edoardo Diana. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
