Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Fregene AFC's zone, Ernesto Franceschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Mingione came out of the goal and Ernesto Franceschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Mingione showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Franceschi in the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carter Renzetti during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sabbioni getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Carter Renzetti hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Ernesto Franceschi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sabbioni defense, Cristiano Catena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Guerrini. The Sabbioni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Guerrini should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Bracco during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adriano Bracco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sabbioni's Dino Guerrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sabbioni from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Franceschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Ernesto Franceschi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Mingione was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sabbioni! The goalkeeper, Dino Guerrini, was totally fooled by Fregene AFC's Eugenio Damiani, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernesto Franceschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Frank Mingione tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Demetrio Petito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Mingione having to interfere. If Ernesto Franceschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Alfieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Guerrini having to interfere. During the 74th minute of the match Carter Renzetti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carter Renzetti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes Sabbioni got a freekick which was hit by Carter Renzetti. Enrico Alfieri took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Guerrini. Dino Guerrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Enrico Alfieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dino Guerrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabbioni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fregene AFC.
