After 10 played minutes Vicarello got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Palmisano. Armin Pagliarini kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Emilio Petricca rounded Malandriano AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Emilio Petricca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Franceschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Celli in the 28th minute of play. Aurelio Marcolongo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Domenico Franceschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Galante, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vicarello's zone, Cristoforo Celli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Franceschi came out of the goal and Cristoforo Celli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Emilio Galante made a precise shot to the right of Domenico Franceschi. Vicarello's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Galante to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Marcolongo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Palmisano in the 55th minute of play. Aurelio Marcolongo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Di Vincenzo in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Frank Barchiesi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malandriano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicarello the free kick. In the 59th minute, Frank Barchiesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Emilio Galante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domenico Franceschi, 2-2. If Cristoforo Celli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
