Edmondo Damiani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Domenico Franceschi made a huge save. The supporters of Vicarello booed when Palombina Nuova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Giolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, one of Vicarello:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vicarello. Domenico Franceschi had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Giolo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Alex Giolo did a trick in the 74th minute in front of Vicarello's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Palombina Nuova's Alex Giolo!
