Frank Taccone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Di Michele, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Pianoro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eugenio Totaro hit a great ball. Pieve Vecchia 's Fabio Palmucci got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvise Fallito got in the 25th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anthony Della Francesca handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Alexander Di Febo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Pallini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pianoro's goalkeeper Anthony Della Francesca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fabio Palmucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Della Francesca was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvise Fallito in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
