Tobbiana FC's Alberigo Grieco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Bolognesi in the 3rd minute of play. Ermanno Lucidi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flavio Cugini firmly grabbed it by the left post. Daniele De Bonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Grieco having to interfere. In the 12th minute Daniele De Bonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Grieco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberigo Grieco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bianco Bolognesi went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Roncadella AFC's Flavio Cugini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Roncadella AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Dennis Sacchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Cugini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermanno Lucidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberigo Grieco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achille Zarrella's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ermanno Lucidi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Flavio Cugini made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Tobbiana FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Visintin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Sacchetti in the 42nd minute of play forced Roncadella AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Cugini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Camillo Di Giovanni put in a rough tackle. 44 minutes into the game, one of Roncadella AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arturo Visintin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tobbiana FC's Fedele Petrucci got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Cugini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Sacchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Bianco Bolognesi's late challenge caught a Tobbiana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Bolognesi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Roncadella AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bianco Bolognesi hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Ermanno Lucidi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Roncadella AFC's Flavio Cugini. Flavio Cugini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Tobbiana FC's goalkeeper Alberigo Grieco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele De Bonis. If Daniele De Bonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Cugini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Sacchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Dennis Sacchetti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Flavio Cugini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
