After 3 minutes, Alessandro Pardini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crevari and the Longiano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Balzani in the 16th minute of play forced Longiano FC's goalkeeper Dave Colantoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Bencivenni got free with Fabiano Varglien in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anfilogino Giordano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Ballerini in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Varglien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ennio Bencivenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Pardini got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alessandro Pardini hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Flavio Ballerini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. In the 49th minute Flavio Ballerini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Varglien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Giordano made a kick off. Ernesto Vanni hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Flavio Ballerini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Bencivenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Varglien having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Crevari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Faccio to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Faccio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Faccio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Crevari got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Faccio. After 78 minutes of play Crevari's Aurelio Faccio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Crevari's Aurelio Faccio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fabiano Varglien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Bencivenni in the 87th minute of the match. Fabiano Varglien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Ballerini's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Fabiano Varglien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Ballerini, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Crevari getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fabiano Carbonetti hit a great ball.
