Taneto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Battista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Di Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabio Marini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexander Di Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Di Giulio to strike the kick off in the second half. Taneto's Francesco Petrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Taneto from getting a goal against them. Fabio Marini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Di Clemente in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Baranzate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Tenaglia to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baranzate! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Taneto. Anthony Gazza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabio Marini. 2-1. The supporters of Taneto booed when Baranzate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Tenaglia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francesco Petrini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fedele Pantani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play.
