In the 20th match minute, Pionca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Vaiani to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pionca FC! Pionca FC:s Carmine Di Gennaro showed great skill when he stopped Fedele Pagliuca:s penalty. In the 29th match minute, Case Nuovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Colantonio to maneuver through the defense. If Anthony Coscarella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pionca FC's Armin Milanese got a free kick in the 35th minute. Dino Colantonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Anthony Coscarella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Pionca FC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Tacco. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Colantonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carmine Di Gennaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Colantonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the match Pionca FC got a corner. Case Nuovo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Pezzella ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Dino Colantonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Case Nuovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Colantonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Di Gennaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes Pionca FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Vaiani. In the 67th minute, Fedele Pagliuca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pionca FC's Carmine Di Gennaro didn't even have to move. In the 71st minute, Armin Milanese ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Nanni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dino Colantonio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Donato Bonsignore in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 82 played minutes Pionca FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Vaiani. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Dino Colantonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Case Nuovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Colantonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Di Gennaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Coscarella struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carmine Di Gennaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Case Nuovo. In the 94th minute, Fausto Fino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Donato Bonsignore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
