In the 16th minute, Ferdinando Combi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Festa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Lupi having to interfere. A collision led to Castellazzo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amerigo Marchegiani hit a great ball. Claudio Festa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arturo Scalabrino fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castellazzo's protests and gave Arturo Scalabrino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Romano Banco AFC booed when Castellazzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Scalabrino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beppe Liberati during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Castellazzo's Beppe Liberati got a free kick in the 30th minute. Daniele Spinelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Castellazzo's Alessio Lupi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Festa in the 31st minute of play. Alvaro Piccinini was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Beppe Liberati capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beppe Liberati really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Romano Banco AFC's Alvaro Piccinini got control of the ball when Armando Palmucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Armando Palmucci got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Alessio Lupi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Spinelli in the 51st minute of the match. Alvaro Piccinini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Liberati in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castellazzo's Dino Ramundo got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the last second Alessio Lupi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Daniele Spinelli in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 78th match minute, Romano Banco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Bassi to maneuver through the defense. Armando Palmucci struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alvaro Piccinini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castellazzo. But to his dismay, Armando Palmucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, Romano Banco AFC's Corrado Cellucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessio Lupi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessio Lupi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Festa in the 95th minute. Castellazzo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
