Ercole Felicetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Di Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 14th match minute, Angeli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Massimini to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Brondolo FC's Demetrio Menna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Damiano De Simone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Frank Barillari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Cristoforo Massimini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ercole Felicetti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Cesare Lenzi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Angeli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Lenzi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano De Simone in the 30th minute of play forced Angeli FC's goalkeeper Frank Barillari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angeli FC's Frank Barillari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Angeli FC from getting a goal against them. Corrado Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Fava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Frank Barillari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Biagio Di Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Cesare Lenzi struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ercole Felicetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angeli FC. A collision led to Angeli FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bruno Lepori hit a great ball. Damiano De Simone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Fava in the 63rd minute of play forced Angeli FC's goalkeeper Frank Barillari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Fabrizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Angeli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Fava came free, but Frank Barillari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amedeo Fava's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Barillari was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Angeli FC's zone, Damiano De Simone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Barillari came out of the goal and Damiano De Simone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amedeo Fava's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Barillari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Damiano De Simone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Lenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brondolo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
