Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberigo Mattei kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Quiliano booed when Flero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Madaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th play minute Christian Marchetti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Angelo Di Fiore. 1-0. Ermanno Lizzi came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Flero FC's Eugenio Falone. But to his dismay, Eugenio Falone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Christian Marchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Eugenio Falone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Lizzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florian Gentili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Christian Marchetti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Angelo Di Fiore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberigo Mattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Angelo Di Fiore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Florian Gentili notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Quiliano's Ermanno Lizzi. Ermanno Lizzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quiliano's Alberigo Mattei got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Falone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermanno Lizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Falone in the 53rd minute of the match. If Eugenio Falone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniele Lauri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Di Fiore. Flero FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Flero FC's Florian Gentili nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermanno Lizzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 68 played minutes Flero FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Caneva. Alberigo Mattei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christian Marchetti came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Quiliano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Marchetti couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Mattei in the 73rd minute of play forced Flero FC's goalkeeper Angelo Di Fiore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Flero FC defense, Christian Marchetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Di Fiore. The Flero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Di Fiore should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Quiliano getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Corrado Checchia hit a great ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quiliano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Della Torre was slow to take the kick. During this time Flero FC's players had a chance to rest. Flero FC's Bruno Della Torre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ermanno Lizzi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Quiliano's goalkeeper Ermanno Lizzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Gentili. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Christian Marchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiliano's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Marchetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Di Fiore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Di Fiore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Mattei went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Florian Gentili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermanno Lizzi having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quiliano had won after a very even match.
