Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugenio Vierchowod started the match with the kick off. Alvise Ucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Di Bartolo in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Rivale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Vierchowod came free, but Cesare Caporale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Armin Barresi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Ucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Molinari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Caporale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Marinelli in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmine Di Bartolo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Ucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Flavio Di Fabio came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Posillipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Di Fabio couldn't finish the play. Rivale FC's Cesare Caporale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Di Fabio in the 21st minute of play. If Amos Montaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Caporale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Vierchowod in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Rivale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Molinari to maneuver through the defense. If Carmine Di Bartolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Posillipo's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Di Bartolo came free, but Alvise Ucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Di Bartolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Fabrizio Macchia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesare Caporale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rivale FC's Cesare Caporale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Rivale FC from getting a goal against them. Alvise Ucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Bergamini, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Carmine Di Bartolo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Ucci. Alvise Ucci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 79 played minutes Posillipo got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Forte. Flavio Di Fabio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cesare Caporale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Carmine Di Bartolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Di Bartolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvise Ucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amos Montaldi struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alvise Ucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivale FC.
