Ciccio Colaussi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Colaussi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Montorfano AFC booed when Idece AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Colaussi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Domenico Staniscia managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Montorfano AFC's Alberto Gallucci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferruccio Di Pietrantonio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Toppi having to make a save. Arturo Toppi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Idece AFC's Amos Zollino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ferruccio Di Pietrantonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Idece AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Di Pietrantonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Montorfano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Di Pietrantonio came free, but Arturo Toppi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Zollino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Polidori to make the kick off. Domenico Staniscia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gallucci in the 57th minute of play. Ferruccio Di Pietrantonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Toppi having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Idece AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gallucci came free, but Domenico Staniscia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
