In the 32nd minute, Alexander Citrullo made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Di Carlo. Malborghetto Di Boara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 38 minutes into the game, Eugenio Trotta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forcellini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malborghetto Di Boara the free kick. In the 38th minute, Eugenio Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forcellini's Emilio Pantani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Forcellini from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes Malborghetto Di Boara got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Caiola. Damiano Lemme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Citrullo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Malborghetto Di Boara's zone, Alexander Citrullo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Di Carlo came out of the goal and Alexander Citrullo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Di Carlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Citrullo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Lemme struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Anselmo Di Carlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forcellini. Forcellini's Alexander Citrullo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malborghetto Di Boara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Ramundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
