A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Concetto Censi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Del Papa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The referee gave Arma a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edoardo Bergomi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vicolungo's Fulvio Pinti. 4-0. If Fabio Campoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Concetto Censi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
